​​​​​We are a team of 2 designers and 6 tailors with different haute couture skills. We have a love for visual storytelling, fantasy, textures and fabrics! Living and Breathing the "zero compromise" philosophy we focus on perfection, equal opportunities, personalization and we adapt a preorder system and zero fabric waste policy, so that we reduce any kind of negative environmental footprint with stocks, staying true to slow fashion philosophy. Finally, we support and collaborate with other designers, artists and handcrafting communities to complete the special look.

THE DESIGNER
​Petra Kara is the Founder and Creative Director of Atelier Calliste, located in Switzerland. Originally from Greece, she has always possessed a creative spirit, fueled by her passion for the arts. She believes that "the way we dress is a visual storytelling we choose to tell about ourselves" Although she is far from her beloved homeland, she honors her heritage by crafting ethereal collections inspired by Greece's mythical and architectural beauty, in her signature style. Empathetic and generous, Petra feels privileged to be trusted by women during their most significant life moments, aiming to showcase their individuality. She often remarks that she has lived two lives: her first in the corporate realm, where she gained 17 years of international marketing experience with P&G after completing Business studies. Alongside her corporate career, she continuously grew her skills in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Luxury Management, Fine Art, and Fashion Photography. This passion ultimately led her to a second life as a fashion designer, online entrepreneur, and fashion mentor.
